I have enjoyed teaching for almost 30 years. More if you count the years during high school in which I taught my classmates basic photography methods. At the time, we did not have a photography teacher but we did have a small dark room.  I had learned how to develop film and make prints at home. In the late eighties I spent some years teaching SCUBA diving and work my way up to the level of “course director”, which is a person that teaches instructors to be instructors. This was one of my methods to pay the bills during my struggling theater days. After a while I decided to return to school and earn my MFA in theater design, primarily lighting. Having my terminal degree in hand allowed me to pursue teaching positions. I have taught theater for the last 20 years from grade seven up through graduate programs.   Drafting and Drawing for the Theater class.
